SYNOPSIS:
Rick, a disgraced former detective, wakes up alone on a subway train in a nameless city. This is his life now – taking freelance jobs wherever he can find them. There he meets the mysterious insurance broker, Frank, who tasks him with investigating the suspicious death of Tony, an ex-con who allegedly died in a gas explosion days after purchasing a million-dollar life insurance policy. What follows is a series of unexplained occurrences: events happening out of order and acquaintances appearing to each other as total strangers. The only one who seems undisturbed by these strange happenings is Frank, and Rick begins to suspect he knows why.
